Katy Leo Club
We are taking on global challenges together.
Parents with Questions
Parents of Leos are a huge part of the reason that Leos are successful. If you have any questions about what the Katy Leos do, or what would be expected of your child, please contact the Leos Advisory Team, led by Education Chair Al Green, or come out to one of the Katy Lions Clubs' meetings.
Developing Leaders
Leos have many leadership opportunities, including the ability to serve as Leo officers in their club, district and multiple district through annual elections. Lions International offers resources for Leos looking to grow their impact as a project organizer, motivator and leader of their peers. There are also in-person Lions Leadership Institutes and online courses through the Lions Learning Center that Leos can access.
When we Meet
The Katy Leos Club meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Want to Join?
If you are a current student aged 12-17 and would like to get involved with the Katy Leos Club, contact your guidance counselor in school and ask about the Katy Leos Club, or (with permission from your parent or guardian) reach out to leos@katylions.org to learn more.
We do it ourselves. We give 100 percent.
Leos Club Program Advisory Panel
Leos and Lions can also share their ideas and represent Leos at the Constitutional Area (CA) level through the Leo Club Advisory Panel. Representatives are comprised of two Lions and two Leos from each CA who attend monthly web meetings with Lions International Staff and create resources through committees. These dedicated Lions and Leos help to craft the future of the program and generate resources designed to increase the impact of the Leo Club Program.
Where there’s a need, there’s a Leo
“Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.” That’s what makes a Leo. As the youngest members of Lions Clubs International, Leos embody the best qualities of our incredible organization. They are devoted young people who realize the power of action. Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership — one of mutual respect where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos, and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades.
Continuing as Leo-Lion
Leos that have completed their time have unique opportunities to continue their service journey as Lions members. Current and former Leos between age of majority through age 35 can access discounts and exciting programs through the Leo-Lion membership program.
Why choose Leos?
There are a lot of ways people can give back to their community — but being a Leo is much more than just service. Choosing Leo clubs will help you grow as an individual and as a leader as you join a global family of young people making the world a better place. Watch the winners of the International annual Leo Video Contest, the Leos of El Kantoui Leo Club, share why they chose Leos. If you're interested in joining our Leo club, contact your school guidance counselor, find a Leo in your school, or (with parent/guardian permission) contact Lion Al Green, the Education Chair.
